Color With Me For Mental Health Awareness

Updated: Dec 1, 2021

"All great changes are preceded by chaos" - Deepak Chopra.

It's Mental Health Awareness Month, and I feel we need to talk about this now more than ever and address the stigma around it. Growing up as a Mexican, my parents taught me how to be strong, which has helped me achieve the desired lifestyle and mental state that I have today. What about when you are just feeling low, or you don't feel okay and don't know why?

I learned that all of my emotions are valid, and I don't always have to be happy 24/7. Everything is temporary, and knowing this helps me understand that I can change any situation if I'm willing to.

I see people focusing on their physical health all the time and exercising relentlessly for it (don't get me wrong, this is important). Still, mental health is another facet of our well-being that we should also care about. I'm not here to tell you what to do, but rather, I'm here to tell you that whatever you're feeling is valid and not to let anyone tell you otherwise. You have powers, so trust your magic.

I have found peace in my mind through different mental exercises. I highly recommend "The Science of Well-Being" course by Yale - it's free and has a lot to offer. I also personally find that coloring brings me peace of mind. For that reason, I have drawn these images so you can download them and have a fun coloring session.

I hope you like them. Share your pictures with me on my Instagram by tagging @lessliecaro. Enjoy your weekend!
